Packers vs. Giants: Preview, Prediction

Packers Giants

On Sunday, the Packers will play their first game in London after avoiding it for many years. The Packers will square off against the New York Giants in a battle of two 3-1 teams.

Both teams have quality records but feature numerous question marks, mostly on offense. The Packers have played inconsistently this season, needing a game-winning field goal in overtime to prevail against the New England Patriots and a third-string rookie quarterback.

It will be interesting to see if the Packers can put together a complete performance against the Giants on Sunday. The Packers rank in the top 10 in rushing yards per game (145) and rushing yards per carry (5.0). The rushing attack will be critical against the Giants, who have allowed the fifth-most rushing yards per game (141) this season.

The Giants are a below-average offensive team with numerous injury concerns. Quarterback Daniel Jones is battling an ankle injury while their receiving corp is decimated by injuries.

On paper, the Packers are the superior team. They also likely will win. But don’t expect the Giants to go down without a fight, as they have shown encouraging signs under first-year coach Brian Daboll.

Prediction: Packers 31, Giants 20
