November was a great month for the Milwaukee Panthers, as they won seven games and are now only one win away from tying their win total from last season. On Tuesday they will square off against the Northern Iowa Panthers as they try to continue their winning ways.

While Milwaukee has had an excellent season so far, they have not been very lucky against Northern Iowa in the last two seasons. In the past two years, Northern Iowa has won both games, winning by double digits both times.

Northern Iowa went 21-15 last season, but they have lost their top scorer and two key contributors from that team. But this has not slowed their offense down as they average 73.5 points per game, while shooting 43.8 from the field and 34.3 from three point range.

Their defense has also done a solid job allowing 69 points per game, while having a slight advantage rebounding the ball, and forcing nearly 13 turnovers per game.

In their three losses this season against Ohio, George Mason and Maryland, they have been a different team as they struggled offensively scoring about 67 points while allowing on average 77 points.

Four players are scoring in double figures for Northern Iowa, but their top player is junior forward Seth Tuttle. He is averaging 13.7 points while grabbing 7.3 rebounds per game. Tuttle also has taken 57 shots, one behind the team leader, Deon Mitchell.

Tuttle will be joined in the starting lineup by guards Deon Mitchell, Matt Bohannon and Wes Washpun, and forward Chip Rank.

Milwaukee will counter with their usual lineup featuring guards Steve McWhorter and Jordan Aaron, and forwards Austin Arians, Matt Tiby and Kyle Kelm.

Milwaukee has been playing well this season, but this will need to continue against a good team like Northern Iowa. Although they have struggled against their better opponents, Northern Iowa is still a talented team and capable of beating Milwaukee. This will not be an easy game for either team, but whoever is able to play good fundamental basketball, while taking smart shots offensively, will walk out of the arena with the win.
