Packers vs. Browns: Preview, Prediction
- Updated: September 20, 2025

The Green Bay Packers (2-0) will hit the road for the first time this season when they face the Cleveland Browns (0-2) on Sunday at Huntington Bank Field. It will be the teams’ first meeting since 2021 and their first matchup in Cleveland since 2017, when Brett Hundley led the Packers to a dramatic overtime victory.
Although the Browns enter Week 3 winless, their defense has shown promise. Myles Garrett and Cleveland’s front seven have consistently created problems for opposing offenses. That unit will test a Packers team that is dealing with key injuries, particularly on offense. Running back Josh Jacobs could face a difficult afternoon, and quarterback Jordan Love may have to lean on quick throws and timely plays to move the chains.
Cleveland’s bigger concern is on offense. Veteran Joe Flacco has struggled behind an inconsistent offensive line, and the Browns lack reliable playmakers to pressure Green Bay’s aggressive defense. With Micah Parsons and the Packers’ pass rush in top form, turnovers appear likely.
It might not be Green Bay’s cleanest performance, but the Packers have enough firepower and defensive talent to stay unbeaten.
Prediction: Packers 27, Browns 13
