Packers vs. Bengals: Preview, Prediction
- Updated: October 12, 2025

The Green Bay Packers return from their bye week looking to right the ship after a pair of disappointing losses, while the visiting Cincinnati Bengals arrive at Lambeau Field reeling from three straight defeats.
The Bengals are still adjusting to life without Joe Burrow and will turn to veteran Joe Flacco, who faces a tough test against Jeff Hafley’s aggressive Green Bay defense.
The Packers, led by Jordan Love and a mostly healthy offense, should have no trouble moving the ball against Cincinnati’s 30th-ranked defense.
While Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are capable of big plays, the Bengals’ lack of depth and protection up front are glaring issues.
Green Bay’s energy, rest and home-field advantage make this an ideal get-right opportunity. Expect the Packers to control the game on both sides of the ball and get back on track in convincing fashion.
Prediction: Packers 31, Bengals 17
