Milwaukee hires LaVall Jordan as head coach

According to numerous media reports, the Milwaukee Panthers have hired LaVall Jordan as the new men’s basketball coach.
Jordan, 35, has been an assistant coach at the University of Michigan since 2010. Prior to Michigan, Jordan was an assistant at Iowa (2007-10) and Butler (2003-07).
A Michigan native, Jordan played college basketball at Butler from 1998-2001.
Jordan takes over for Rob Jeter, who spent 11 seasons as the head coach of the Panthers, after Director of Athletics, Amanda Braun announced the firing of Jeter on March 17.
