Supplemental First-Round

31. Tampa Bay Rays: Matt Sauer, RHP, Righetti HS (Calif.)

A 6-foot-4, 195-pound right-hander, Matt Sauer has a three-pitch repertoire, including a mid-90s fastball. Some scouts see Sauer as a power reliever in the majors, while others envision him as a starting pitcher.

32. Cincinnati Reds: Drew Waters, OF, Etowah HS (Ga.)

Drew Waters is a switch-hitting outfielder, who’s known for his speed and ability to swing the bat with authority from both sides of the plate. He projects as a top-of-the-order bat that can steal bases and play an above-average centerfield at the next level.

33. Oakland Athletics: Brendon Little, LHP, JC of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota

A 6-foot-2, 195-pound left, Brendon Little has a three-pitch mix, featuring a high-90s fastball. Although he has an overpowering fastball, some scouts are concerned about his command.

34. Milwaukee Brewers: Corbin Martin, RHP, Texas A&M

Possessing a three-pitch mix, Corbin Martin throws a mid-90s fastball that touches 98 mph, a nasty curveball and a changeup.

35. Minnesota Twins: Heliot Ramos, OF, Puerto Rico

After taking Wright with the No. 1 overall pick, Heloit Ramos would give the Twins a high upside prep player. Ramos is strong, athletic and has impressive power potential.

36. Miami Marlins: Jacob Heatherly, LHP, Cullman HS (Ala.)

Jacob Heatherly is an underrated prep left-hander with four solid offerings.
