Series against Kansas State cancelled

Throughout the week there have been rumblings that this weekend’s baseball series would be cancelled, and toady head coach Scott Doffek officially announced that the Milwaukee Panthers weekend series against Kansas State has been cancelled.

Due to winter weather conditions forecasted for this weekend in Manhattan, Kansas the Panthers will not be facing the Wildcats in a three-game set, and because it is a non-conference series, it will not be made-up.

These three games would have been a big test for the Milwaukee Panthers, and would have prepared them nicely for conference play, which begins in two weeks. Now they will be off for another week, as they face the UIC Flames on the road in a three-game non-conference series next weekend.

This weather sucks!!!!!!! The Panthers seemed to get on a bit of a roll last weekend. Hopefully they can hang on to that momentum for a few more weeks.

This would have been a nice test for the Panthers as conference play is almost here. Can’t wait to see if a lot of home games are affected by the weather.
